Maintaining its leadership in the sector in 2006, GİSAD's export volume increased by 3.6% over the previous year and reached nearly US$ 2 billion. In the same period, the Company's share of total exports in Turkey was 5.0%. GİSAD owes this success to its flexible operational structure allowing it to re-position itself against adverse conjunctures. No doubt  such a flexible structure is the result of a dynamic management concept, open to adoption of new directions and new measures swiftly as domestic and overseas developments necessitate. It is such a management concept and perspective that helped GİSAD to position itself as “a central base of global trade” as it experienced a business volume increase of US$ 76 million to the present US$ 2 billion within a decade.
